A network becomes increasingly important within intermodal logistics. It provides the opportunity to make optimal combinations and work more effectively on digital and sustainable developments. Van Berkel Logistics BV is very pleased to add CTU Rivierenland to its network of terminals in Veghel, Oss and Cuijk as Inland Terminal Tiel with effect from November 29, 2024.
The value of Inland Terminal Tiel in the network
The addition of Inland Terminal Tiel provides opportunities to create combinations on the sailing routes to Oss and Cuijk. This allows a larger concentration of containers to be transported to and from terminals in Rotterdam. It also creates more opportunities for further cooperation with operators on other sailing routes. The terminal in Tiel is located at an intersection of major waterways and also at the A15 motorway. The combination of sailing routes ensures a high frequency of departures to Rotterdam and Antwerp.
Van Berkel Logistics will offer new services in the coming years to support the modal shift from road to water and to support clients in logistic solutions through it’s network.
